It is an added jubilant year for Apayao State College (ASC) on its Silver Jubilee Celebration held at Conner, Apayao last March 6-7, 2023.
The celebration started with a traditional parade attended by the ASC Employees, students and various organizations in the said town of Conner. This was followed by a thanksgiving mass and opening program held at EKB Multipurpose Gymnasium in ASC-Cubet.
With the theme, “Honoring the Glorious Past, Sustaining Excellence and Envisioning the promising Future”, it serves as a guide to highlight and value those who have been part of ASC’s progress over the past 25 years including those previous leaders and beloved stakeholders. Paying tribute to the founding Father of the College, the late Elias K. Bulut, Sr. and for the continuous support of the good Governor, Elias C. Bulut, Jr. in the development of the lone tertiary education in the Province of Apayao.
In the said celebration, Dr. John N. Cabansag, the College President delivered his message with greatness upon giving assurance to everyone that his commitment to transforming the college as an innovation-driven higher education institution in the Asia-Pacific region, pursuing excellence in instruction, biodiversity conservation, and protection, pioneering research, and community empowerment as this compliments the four pillars of the college namely: Instruction, Research, Extension and Production.
“With solidarity and the help of the Commission on Higher Education, the Provincial Government of Apayao, and our other stakeholders, the college is hopeful and confident that we can look forward to developing Apayao State College with a culture of quality education.” As he also emphasized this message towards ASC endeavors.
Meanwhile, the cutting of ribbon of Agro-Trade Fair along with the product display of RDE assisted Partner Agencies and People’s Organizations was also witnessed during the celebration.
